Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Whorl app, published by OB Data LLC ("we", "us"). By using Whorl you agree to them, and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to all App Store apps.

License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Whorl on Apple devices you own or control. The app, its soundscapes, design, and technology are the property of OB Data LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, redistribute, or resell the app or its audio content.

Subscriptions and purchases

• Whorl Pro is available as an auto-renewable subscription ($6.99/month or $39.99/year, each with a 3-day free trial) or as a one-time lifetime purchase ($89.99). Prices may vary by region and may change.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions.
• Unused portions of a free trial are forfeited when you purchase.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Wellness disclaimer

Whorl is a wellness app for relaxation and focus. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. It is not therapy and is not a substitute for professional care. If you have a history of sound- or motion-triggered discomfort, use the Gentle intensity and Still or Drift motion styles, start with short sessions, and stop if you feel unwell.

Safe listening

Use headphones at a comfortable volume. Do not use Whorl while driving or operating machinery, and do not use sleep sessions in situations that require your attention.

Warranty and liability

Whorl is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OB Data LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
